Flexibility at a deeper level
Yin yoga supports the natural processes of the body in relax mode. With Yin Yoga you do not use your body to get into the posture, but the posture is used to be more present in your body.
The emphasis is on relaxing the muscles so other parts of the body, such as connective tissue, ligaments and tendons, gain space.
To give the muscles time to relax, we stay in the postures for about 3 to 10 minutes. This way you aquire flexibility on a deeper level. In addition, Yin yoga provides effective stimulation of organs and energy pathways (meridians) in the body.
